Wall Street Journal ^ | October 8, 2016 | Janet Hook, Beth Reinhard and Reid J. Epstein

A divided Republican Party descended into turmoil, as a startling chorus of GOP candidates and officials repudiated their own presidential candidate and scrambled to find personal paths to political survival just a month before Election Day. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus on Saturday told party officials to redirect funds away from nominee Donald Trump to down-ballot candidates, according to an official informed of the decision.

If ANYONE “salvages” this election, it isn’t going to be the GOP. It will be Donald Trump and the voters.

At the beginning of all this the GOPe fielded 17 prospects, they all lost.

After Trump showed us all who they were, even if he had lost the primary I can’t think of a single one of “sore loser committee” that would have the following and support of Trump.

So, in effect, the GOPe has nobody to “get behind”.

Their thing seems to be salivating over the down ticket. With our Trump millions of republican voters would just sit it out, and never even see the “down ballot”. But, Trump will pack the polls with enthusiastic voters, may who will just choose the straight republican ticket, which will include the RINOs.

They’d better be thanking him for the vote volume.

Women, if the Trump tape has got you all having the vapors, then you weren’t a supporter anyway.

You know why the GOP are losers.

************

Just look at how the GOP ran away from and dissed the Tea Party. Tells you everything you need to know about the GOP. They are a bunch of spineless losers.

Interesting how the GOP puts it’s focus on the wrong area. Still way out of touch.

Most of us recall that Bill Clinton won an election after it was disclosed that an Intern was servicing him under the desk in the oval office, he was already president, running for his second term.
When Hillary hit the media this week with her giddy laugh, to tell us the Trump story, she expected that to be the end of Trump.
She was really show casing her past. Bill’s scandal eventually got him impeached, it is history and she thinks we won’t remember.
She really just rerun the story.
And Clinton got elected for a second term, just for the record, I would vote for Trump over and over. I do not trust giddy Hillary.

The GOP just wants Hillary as President so they use her as an excuse for accomplishing nothing but padding their pockets.

....They are doing the exact opposite of what they SHOULD be doing....

How is this any different from “Give us control of the House,” and then, “Just give us the Senate too??....”

Same type bad actors...same results...

Winner of the most ridiculous headline of the day. The GOP is in bed with the Dems and have been for decades. They had McRINO pimping for The Kenyan in 08. Remember how the GOP tried to ruin Palin. They’re pulling the same thing with Trump.

Priebus was starting to gain my respect - I even donated $100 to the GOP/RNC efforts.

Likely the last they ever get from me and millions of others.

It’s GOP RIP for me. I have my sample ballot; only one circle is certain: Donald J. Trump. One circle will not be filled under any circumstance: The incumbent RINO Ruling Class Congresscritter who denounced Trump.

The only question is, how much do the Republican RINOs need to be punished? Withhold my vote? Or help defeat them all and start fresh next primary?

They are fools already. If they even want to run for POTUS in the future, the Democrats will simply point to them as spineless cowards who would commit treason if a hat dropped. The Democrats are united, and anything that makes the other side look weak, they will use it.

And if these dickless crybabies in the GOP cost Trump the election with their duplicity, I hope he takes the House and Senate down with him. At this point, bring it on. Let’s just get it over with.

Concur, and well stated. “Burn this mother down!”

The GOPe, being the usual suspects.

They are fit for nothing and certainly not worthy of any success or money Mr. Trump might bring to the party.

They seem to have the knack of always finding failure under a band of gold. The pajama boys, serving nothing more than chips and watered down dip at a party where the only tunes played are songs speaking of losers, lonely streets, and Eve of Destruction.

Not a happy party. It more resembles an abomination of a wake.

The WSJ is now newsprint of the dark side just as FOX NEWS is filled with unpatriotic talking heads.

RINOs have never been so obvious in their desire to be included in the ‘New World Order’ army

"”My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders, some time in the future with energy that is as green and sustainable as we can get it, powering growth and opportunity for every person in the hemisphere.”

This nightmare is as true for the GOPe as it is for the woman who spoke these words.

Rinsed Penis is a fool. If it were not for Trump, there would be no RNC income. Furthermore, if Trump is vindictive, his and many others’ political careers, are finished. If Trump takes the WH, Ryan is finished.

The last time I donated to the RNC was when RR was running.

Absolutely, and with all the independents, crossover Dems, and previous non-voters, I think it will be a landslide.

Also IMHO, the RNC trying to “ditch” Trump and supposedly put someone else in there was only meant to try to discourage voters and get us to ditch him. They know they can’t put another candidate in there.
