Sage grouse are very picky about their habitat. They are only found in areas with certain criteria. Sorry, but the sage grouse did just fine for hundreds of thousands of years before humans were here in North America to “control fires”. Periodic prairie fires are part and parcel of the NATURAL habitat and natural cycles. Unnatural controlling of those natural fires interferes with the good they do for the environment and have ALWAYS done for the environment.
