Pence drops out of Ryan campaign event

GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence will no longer attend a campaign event on Saturday with House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), according to reports.

Ryan was originally scheduled to appear with Donald Trump, but Trump was dropped from the event in the wake of the Washington Post publishing leaked audio of Trump making vulgar comments about women in 2005.

Pence was supposed to attend in his running mate’s place. But the Indiana governor is "not going to the Wisconsin GOP event today,” according to NBC News.

Pence decided himself not to attend the event and was not uninvited by Ryan, according to a Politico reporter. Trump's campaign is under siege from Republicans on Saturday in the wake of the leaked audio. Four GOP senators have called for him to leave the party's presidential ticket, another said she won't vote for him, and two House members unendorsed him.

If Trump doesn’t win in 2016 your vote for Pence in 2020 may not mean much. That’s how much our backs are against the wall.

I thought Mrs. Ryan was a nominal Republican; she is a part of the extended Boren Democrat family from OK.

It was the proper thing to do. To stay in and stand with RINO-Ryan, would be to redeclare himself as a loyal tool of the establishment, sort of like Paul has become.
Trump would have seen it as dis-loyal too.

That ass Mike Lee is having the vapors - and calling for Trump to drop out.

Trump needs to be the dude in the apology video at tomorrows town hall. Focused and in control, with a bit of righteous fire underneath.

He will devastate the left and these miserable uni-party globalist assholes (pardon the swearing.

HRC lies to Congress, commits crimes, endangers our national security, yet these ‘Republicans’ don’t think she should resign her candidacy. Trump says what men say privately to other men and he’s the one that has to resign. Our Republic is utterly doomed!

Yes I am going wobbly.....

If DJT gets in it is almost mandatory he enacts the following:

* New RNC Chair, Sarah Palin works for me or Michelle Bachmann as the new chair.
* New House Speaker and Senate Majority leader, our two current leaders have worn out my last nerve.
* Like a incoming DA @ your Local Court House, ask for Resignation letters ( effective in 90 days) and Resumes of anyone of a certain "GS(insert number) pay grade.

Is it me or is the porta-potty that is DC is even worse than we thought? We are gonna need a bigger MilkShake Wagon to clean this sucker out.....

Lawyer Politicians share in their Rino loser incompetence. All talk, no action.

Trump is a successful winner.

Rino Republicans are failed losers at life.

Brilliant #40

I think most women (possibly even some Dem women) are smarter about this than the “men” in the MSM. . . and a number of others, unfortunately.

For what it’s worth, my wife thought Trump was just pulling the leg of that kid Bush, cracking him up.

My opinion: People that won’t support Trump are equivalent of those who wouldn’t step across the line at the Alamo. Not worth having around anyway.

Pence released a statement on twitter about 30 mins ago. I’m thinking Pence might remove himself from the ticket. It would not surprise me a bit.

I think we all might as well realize this isn’t going to end well. I’m voting for Trump, and don’t care what he said, but in reality I think he lost the race yesterday.

We will. He will be the next vice president. If you are already bowing to Hillary you might consider logging off. Many were already logged off permanently.

Ryan might start to consider that he needs the top to win so that the lower office GOP candidates can be swept in also...

The president doesn’t select the congressional leadership, but he can the chairmanship of his own party.
