Under a Democrat administration we would blame our ally for not making enough concessions and cut off aid to them.

Exactly. Some in govt can’t seem to grasp the other side’s POV. Wouldn’t Obama wage war on any town or city in USA (as done in Colorado) that decided to rebel against the federal government? This is what was happening in Syria when Obama and his meddling neocon(?) cohorts decided to state that Assad must go. That created the vacuum that stirred up every evil faction and maybe some of our own doing in Syria. It also created the European and USA refugee crisis which played into the open border/multi-culturalists hands.
