Piotr Czak-Zukowski, 28, and Mateusz Pawlikowski, 21, also threw rashers at the shoe rack of the Al-Rahman Mosque in Camden, and a piece landed inside a shoe.
"These two were completely and utterly drunk. They entered a mosque, which they are prohibited from doing while drunk.
"Not only have they entered, they then insulted worshippers just before evening prayers.
"They have with them rashers of bacon which they throw on the floor in a holy place of worship.

Poor piggy.
A delicious staple of Polish cooking. I prefer the potato dumpling, myself. Along with sour cream, of course. We go to Vesalka’s on the east side of Manhattan when we need eastern European food on a cold winter’s night.
I miss that variety now that we live so far from Boston.
Brilliant in its simplicity.
Are you in the country? That’s one of the disappointments of living in rural areas, I think - missing wonderful ethnic cooking. I want to live in northeast Maine, a beautiful location with very good food, but most of it is not influenced by Jewish, Polish, or Italian cookery which is what I grew up with.
If you’re ever in the Chicago area, I recommend a restaurant called “Staropolska.”
This thread needs the I’m melting wicked witch meme...
So, this article is about men who worship animal pelts with bacon, and get it done right before evening prayers?
Oh, lovely. Despite its reputation, I love Chicago. A great city.
From your Jan 8th....
“No experienced businessman in construction would try to somehow make more money by shaking things up this way. He is alienating himself from every leftist, every establishment goon, every union thug, every Reconquista zealot, and most especially every muslim.”
I can guarantee you, as I spent much of my life financing large commercial RE projects. This cost Trump a fortune!
The EVIL GREEDY ones are in Chappaqua !
I was going to guess France.
Poland will do.
:-)
Yes, in the country. Apparently, there is a Portuguese restaurant nearby. We’re excited about that. :)
Otherwise, we have to drive to Boston, Worcester or Rhode Island.
Chicago was once a wonderful city. Now, I’m not sure that I would feel safe visiting there.
A quick and easy variant for lots neo-pirogi when unexpected company arrives.
Pillsbury Grand Buttermilk Biscuit in the tube.
Mince thick cut bacon, Wegmans is great or Canadian, mince onion.
Fry bacon and onions together, add pepper to taste.
Set aside.
Crack cold biscuit tube, separate biscuits, then separate each biscuit again for two patties.
Add about about a teaspoon of bacon onion mix, fold dough to form lunette, pinch edges, use wet finger if necessary.
Load up baking tray, egg wash all and put in pre-heated oven @450 IIRC. Done in about 12-15 when golden brown.
Lighter than traditional heavy dough, but oh so delicious with coffee, beer, soup, you name it. Good cold or 10 sec in med size micro wave.
When the urge hit during football season I’d bake 5 or 6 dozen for family and buds. Always the first to get polished off. Change filling per taste, works well with jams, esp blueberry, or veggie such as spinach.
Does the great Cov want to be a part of our weekly cooking thread???! Because if you do, my dear, let me sign you up!
The problem is always the inner cities - not the middle class/upper class sections near the lake. It grieves me that people always associate cities with inner cities which are always isolated from the major shopping and restaurant areas.
