A 10-year-old special-needs boy was on life support after bullies allegedly lured him to a field, doused him with gasoline, and lit him on fire on Sunday.
Kayden Culp of Kerrville, Texas, has burns on 20 percent of his body from his ears to his belly button, and his organs are failing, according to a YouCaring page set up by the boy

What are kids doing with gasoline?? I just read the news article that another person linked to - and there is very little info except a police chief saying no one was coerced to be in the shed. How does he know? The kid is comatose!
Even if it turns out to be a prank, I don’t get modern kids who carry around gasoline.
Without a doubt, severe evil has been unleashed upon this entire world. Every new day more and more atrocities are being revealed worldwide. Pray for us all.
Turns out the headline was a pure lie.
It was an accident.
If his organs are failing they probably beat him up first. It’s hard to pour gasoline on someone who is running away.
” I hate this world “
Same here.
He was about 13 when it happened. He went from a meek little guy to a 6' 250 lb. giant with strapping muscles. The miscreants came to the door wanting to know if my son could come out to play football. They were not prepared when he stepped outside, got on the line, and proceeded to destroy anyone who was set up to block him.
They never tried to bully him again.
It is very difficult for kids who want so desperately to fit in, to be liked and to have friends, to stand up for themselves. Some parents tell the kids to shake it off, knowing that the world is full of wolves and that they will have to learn how to cope. Some parents see it as normal childish teasing, part of the growing experience. Some parents, like me, see it as a potential threat and isolate the threat from their offspring.
Praying that this young man recovers and that the community rallies around him - not just now, but for the rest of his life.
They’re boys, fire seems fun and exciting, no thought of the danger. Everybody has a gas can in suburbia, for the lawnmower.
Smoking a cigarette.
I'm willing to withhold judgement, because I hope it is not intentional.
That, and the fact that they're charged with arson, rather than attempted murder, says that the local news probably is correct.
"Journalists" not bothering to get the facts? Who'd think it?
There’s a special rung in Hell for people that would do this.
Boys will be boys until one’s life is destroyed.
Could have been the video of ISIS lighting up the Jordanian pilot.
Remember to “mistakenly” label them as 18-year-olds so that the Supreme Court will have more difficulty stopping the executions.
I guess this was kids playing around with gas - not deliberately taking the kid out to set him on fire
Stupid, but I did similar stupid stuff when I was a kid- almost started a forest fire
This was in the 1970’s
The fumes are actually what ignites, which is why even talking on a cell phone while pumping gas can be dangerous. But, you can douse a lit cigarette on the ground with gasoline and put it out.
I have a hard time believing this story.
Then they should be thrown under the jailhouse until they turn 21. Such stupidity should have consequences.
That’s unfortunately true.
It’s a boy thing. Happened to the son of a friend of mine. Son and buddies decided to start little fire....in a field....kaboom...
