They would whisper and I really think it would answer so many of happenings in my life now. Thankfully my husband lets me go ahead and burn the white sage and he has stopped shaking his head at my admissions. I do understand the love of taking care of someone you love dearly.
I can totally sympathize with wanting more time with your mother and grandmother. I miss my parents so much and have sincere regrets about missing so many opportunities to truly listen to their stories. My mother also had some fabulous foods she made without recipes...I wish I’d either recorded her or written down details. She played the piano. You could mention any piece and she could play it... I recorded her one day...Having that recording is one of my most precious possessions.
