From the moment the segment opens, complete with the stereotypical "Oriental riff," you know this is not politically correct TV. But boy, does it go downhill quick.
Fox News correspondent Jesse Watters has drawn swift outrage after the airing of his O'Reilly Factor segment on New York City Chinatown voters, with users on social media calling it "blatantly racist" and "nauseating."

Chinamen and orientals are becoming the “new jews” on college campuses as they are routinely being discriminated against because of their high grades and work/study habits which are culturally pushed towards success.
The social justice warriors are just as fascistic as the German NAZIs complaining about how the bankers and lawyers are Jews, except now they are complaining about how all the engineers and STEM experts are Yellow People.
Instead of buckling down and working hard to improve their OWN culture and promote success in THEIR culture, it is infinitely easier for them to whine and Hammer down the Hard working Asiatics.
( I intentionally used offensive terms IRONICALLY to describe East Asians above to prove a point, because the SJWs are the new brown shirt/red shirt mobs and some of the most racist people against Asians are some of the self proclaimed SJWs I have had the misfortune of meeting )
For liberals, the only time you can single out or “profile” people racially is when your premise is based on how that minority is harmed or in some way disadvantaged. Or if it is about whites, or men, or Protestants, or conservatives, it must be about how they are somehow privileged or unfairly benefit from the system. Otherwise it is racist and sexist. And it is equivalent, in their puny minds, to causing the Holocaust. Liberalism truly is a mental disorder. And that’s about the nicest thing you can say about it truthfully.
Sodom and Gomorrah in America.
I am ashamed and appalled at the insensitivity in your article about a Fox News segment on China Town. Please realize, that there are those whose sexual identity depends on us not going around with a stick up our butts ready to be offended at the slightest pretense. This sexual identity is called "non-idiot". The segment was produced by the very persecuted "non-idiot" community for consumption of others in the "non-idiot" community.
Please note that the "non-idiot" sexual identity is in an extra dimension orthogonal to the regular gender identity, race, height, and weight of us "non-idiots". Some of the "non-idiots" you have offended were women. Some were men. Some were black, asian, native american, hispanic, white, and at least one was orange.
Please try to be more sensitive to the non-idiot community in the future by taking a remedial course on understanding us non-idiots, and the way we view life.
Thank you

Because they’re so busy with their families and educating themselves and working hard to get ahead, rather than agitating for special set-asides and privileges, Asian Americans are an easy target for racist a-holes.
They don’t riot, they work. And succeed.
You’re so right. I saw it and thought it was halarious. Watters wasn’t trying to diminish these people in any way....anyone who didn’t answer like the older gentleman probably didn’t understand what he said. People need to lighten up, FCOL!
I saw the Watters segment. Nothing to cause the “racist” allegation occurred. The people in NYC China Town were friendly and willingly talked with Jesse.
I think you miss the aim of Watters’ World.
It’s intended to give insight regarding how just regular folks think about various subjects. It doesn’t purposely try to be funny, although sometimes it turns out that way.
I don’t believe there should be discrimination against Asians on campuses (though it is completely acceptable against white guys - maybe this is just a way to get more “preferred minorities” in those seats); however, here in NJ our schools traffic Asians here - and they pay more than NJ Americans, so they are preferred in that sense. If colleges discriminate against Asians (from Asia, not Americans) in favor of American students, I’m OK with that.
I’m an Asian who finds no offense in the term “oriental.” What offends me is being told I should be offended.
Grace, you had me at “Chinamen”.
