The average woman will define herself based on how she is seen and reacted to by the opposite sex. I suppose you can say that’s sad, but it is none the less true.
Yes, I am pretty the science is settled on this. Men are hard wired for visual stimulus.
I guess if women were hard wired for visual stimulus it wouldnt be a problem.
Hillary has a vested interest in attacking “lookism” — which is discrimination based on looks (from feminist ideology, but in practice, they will invariably go for the prettiest lesbian).

You are right. And I say this as a middle-aged woman who misses the days when I used to get cat-called. :)
It’s biological.
You are correct sir but as a 58 yr old woman I would not really call it sad. I've come to accept it as part of God's wiring. I think part of knowing we've found the right man is that he will be wired to appreciate our particular appearance.
I could add a lot about the media creating expected image types for us gals being wrong but I think on this forum that would be preaching to the choir. I just really believe body image is related to knowing how God made us and being partnered up with the right fella.
Most women want to be seen as attractive, but it’s a stretch to say that that is how the average woman defines herself. And pride in one’s appearance varies quite a bit from woman to woman.
