Is US preparing preemptive strike on North Korea?

South Korea has had no discussions whatsoever with the United States about a preemptive strike on North Korea, Seoul's ambassador to Washington said.

Amb. Ahn Ho-young made the remark during a parliamentary audit of his embassy on Saturday as talk of removing North Korea's nuclear facilities through a military strike has surfaced in the U.S. in the wake of Pyongyang's fifth nuclear test.

"We've had no such discussions at least here in Washington," Ahn said during the audit held at the embassy. "We've never received a request from the U.S. government for discussions about a preemptive strike."

Last month, an independent task force report from the Council on Foreign Relations suggested that the U.S., South Korea and Japan should send a strong message to the North that future aggression will be met with a strong response, including "strikes against military targets inside North Korea."

Will obama leave office before the world is set on fire?

No, he's evil but not crazy.

This may be a false flag by certain other nuclear powers to score propaganda points.

Due to their roles in promoting nuclear proliferation I think US strategy should be to treat any attack on the US, our friends or allies, as an attack by Russia and the PRC on the United States; demanding a full and immediate response.

I dunno. There are no muslims there.

That is only half the equation. Remember Obama's DREAMS OF MY FATHER ? His father was a Muslim and a Communist.

The current administration would love to stir up some conflict somewhere in hopes of giving Hillary a bump in the polls. Bill Clinton did this in Iraq to distract from the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

Huma Abedin was a White House intern at that time, and she wrote this in a journal that was later published:

I wonder if Bill Clinton and Anthony Weiner were Hillary’s and Huma’s beards.

FReepers predicting that Bammie can impose martial law should take a deep breath & google possible scenarios by which he might attempt to do so.

They’ll find that it’s not as easy as the POTUS merely picking up the phone.

I believe the states would respond with “You want martial law, Mr. Prez? Fine, make it happen! We’re not lifting a finger.”

Bammie would have no choice but to shriek like Daffy Duck, “You’re ALL under arrest!!!”
