which is true both literally and figuratively. The man is absolute filth, a fact that shows in the way he treated his employees. She was "off limits" because he's married, because chain of command, and because of age difference. That condemns him; but it does not exonerate her. She was not a rape victim, she was a slut.
And like it or not, what we do at 22 may affect us (for good or ill) for the rest of our lives.
Some of us grew up listening to Johnny Cash: "I turned 21 in prison, doing life without parole ..."
That line kinda sticks in your mind ... especially when 21 is approaching.
Just finishing up my 4th year in the Army and 3rd year in SEA. My chain of commands wives and daughters were off limits.
(Of course since none of them were cute little Asian girls I had no interest anyway.)

I have told my kids to be wise and learn from other people's life experiences/mistakes so you can avoid their heartache and troubles. I hope they take heed. But some people just don't know things. They weren't taught. They didn't have good role models. They are blinded by their own foolishness and desires. They can't learn until they experience the pain themselves. And I do feel bad for young people, who through immaturity and bad decisions, end up screwing up their whole lives.
Damn straight they were; something that neither the Rapist in Chief nor his slutty intern came close to comprehending.
I believe Mr. Bill is late for everything, and GWB was always on time. Correction???

And therein lies part of the problem. It's not "what happened", Monica. It's what you did. You have to own it, and call it right, if you're going to learn from it.

I hope so, too. Learning from other peoples' mistakes is sure less painful than learning from one's own.
But some people just don't know things. They weren't taught. They didn't have good role models.
And we still put them in prison, and sentence them to life without parole. I propose for your consideration one Lee Boyd Malvo. He actually DID turn 21 in prison doing life without parole. He's lucky the Commonwealth of Virginia didn't stick a needle in his arm like they did with his buddy John Allen Mohammed. Both of them richly deserved it.
To her credit, Miss Lewinsky didn't commit murder, and she didn't get a murderer's reward. She did what she did, paid the price, but she doesn't seem to have learned anything from it. Pity. Hope other young ladies DO learn from it.
Personally I wish she would have come out against Clinton...BC and HRC. To my knowledge she never has.
Anyway, it was a whole nasty mess.
And murder is a whole different ball of wax as you know. I wish there was still capital punishment for some that have committed murder under the age of 18.
One young person (15 years old) that I did feel sorry for in that situation, was the young boy (and his friends) that Pam Smart manipulated through sex, emotions, and lies to kill her husband. She was the adult with power in that situation. She preyed on the weak. Women can certainly be EVIL, too.
He cancelled a third rally stop, in Rochester, Michigan because of a “conflict” in his schedule. Rochester is pretty affluent and pretty Republicsn, although there are lots of affluent libs these days.
An hour and 44 minutes late? Bill, were you late because of a hooker?

Beside our HQ compound in Bkk lived an Army Major, and his family, which included a young daughter about 15 -17 years of age. She had a thing about teasing our guys. Her bedroom window on the 2nd floor was visible from our mess hall.
She frequently opened her shutters in the morning and walked around nude as she was, we assumed, getting ready for school.
One of our young guys, thought he'd get a grand thank you from the Major, so he went over there an ratted her out.
All he accomplished was an end to the morning show, and the disdain of his peers.
The Major wasn't from our unit, so none of us knew him.

Can we trust everyone to come across our borders to not blow up major buildings, to not bomb races in Boston, to not shoot up nightclubs, to not murder people for their religion.........Bill the walls are not there to stop immigration. They are there to control it by finding people from other countries that want to enter, assimilate, and be law abiding contributing people to our society. Without the wall, it can’t be done. Otherwise, people will be let in that want to murder thousands of innocent people that want to do it the right way. You may now remove your head from the dark. If you don’t you are fostering death, pain, and the act of turning us into the countries the good immigrants came here to get away from.

Well what we know about the oval office episode if it had not been for Monica. You know what they say “even a fish wouldn’t get in trouble if it had kept it’s mouth shut” !
I guess we should thank her then. She unwillingly provided more proof of what a sleazeball he was/is.
I personally don’t care about what two adults choose to do. It was his taking advantage of a situation while holding that office that bothered me. And then he and his nasty surrogates, like that horrible James Carville, trying to destroy women after the fact. It has never been about two people having a loving, equal-footing, consensual affair with Clinton unless one considers Gennifer Flowers more in that realm. It’s mostly been about Clinton exploiting opportuntites that walked across his path...some more forcefully than others ala Juanita Brodderick.
We’ve had two very sick puppies in office with Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. I’m just hoping and praying that we don’t get another psychotic in there.
