Another prominent Republican has endorsed Hillary Clinton.
Michael Chertoff, who served as George W. Bush's secretary of Homeland Security during his second term in office, told Bloomberg News that the Democratic nominee "has good judgment and a strategic vision how to deal with threats that face us."
Chertoff, who as a federal prosecutor led a Congressional probe into the Whitewater real estate scandal surrounding Bill and Hillary Clinton in the 1990s, added that "Trump's sense of loyalties are misplaced" and that the stakes, regarding terrorism and potential attacks, are too high to leave to someone like him
Chertoff even pointed to Trump's behavior at the — and in the days following — the first debate.

Chertoff is one of the Washington Elite with a big financial stake in maintaining the power of the DC Lobbying community. His company (Chertoff Assoc.) stands to lose a lot of influence and business with a Trump election.
This is not really debatable. The oath of Office is an oath to support the Constitution. The Constitution absolutely requires Trump's loyalties, not Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Chertoff's--whatever those might be! See Trump: The Issue!
