Confess then receive Communion with her "spouse"? Repent as long as it takes to receive Communion then go home and sleep with another woman? Then confess again, rinse and repeat? Nope, that's not how it is supposed to work. But you wouldn't know that and I honestly do not think you will believe anything else.

Of course that’s not how it’s supposed to work but it is the duty of the Pope to make it clear. To leave the impression he condones unrepentant sinners receiving Communion is a scandal.
