I’m Protestant, this particular Pope does not inspire respect. Both John Paul II and Benedict XVI struck me as defenders of thier faith in the face of secular pressures. Pope Francis simply is not. To my mind he is a good reason to withdraw the recent doctrine of Papal infallibility.

Too many Protestant churches are bending their faith, we all could use a Catholic Church that stands strong against secular winds.

I’ve been going to services at a Reformed Presbyterian church recently. It’s such a pleasant contrast with the ridiculous progressive church I grew up in.

Trying to change the sinner is not standing up to “secular winds”?? I suppose you want to be like the young priest he admonished and screams from across the street “You will go to hell”.

Yea, that’s the way to convert them, with hate... /sarcasm
