Jim, The usual $40.00 will go out in the snail mail after the weekend when we go to town to do our weekly shopping.
We’ll consider the monthly program after my eye surgery. Hopefully will get the right eye back, and then in November/December maybe restore the left eye to 100%. Just barely able to see out of the left eye now, and nothing out the right eye. Oct 18 is surgery #1, and prayers are always helpful.
For the curiosity of some who are reading this it’s a seldom happening to have ones lenses drop. Muscles that hold the lenses in place have failed in both eyes allowing the lenses to drop out of alignment. The Doctor has to go in, and remove all the previous stuff from the 2002 cataract surgery (both eyes), replace the whole enchilada, and stitch the lenses in place. Sounds creepy, but if I get to see these last number of years of my life, it will be worth it.

Btw, we had a very successful net increase of close to $1,000 per month in our New Monthly Donor drive last quarter. We’re now up to $12k per month in monthlies. If we can get that monthly figure up to $15k per month, it would represent more than half of our quarterly goal and these FReepathons could possibly complete in less than 30 days. Wouldn’t that be great?
