God Smiles on Arnie. I love it! :)
My Brethren, the roll of the workmen has been called, and one Master Mason has not answered to his name. He has laid down the working tools of the Craft and with them he has left that mortal part for which he no longer has use. His labors here below have taught him to divest his heart and conscience of the vices and superfluities of life, thereby fitting his mind as a living stone for that spiritual building that house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Strengthened in his labors here by faith in God, and confident of expectation of immortality, he has sought admission to the Celestial Lodge above.
May his Memory be Eternal!!!!
Love it!
Is that a pic of the real rainbow??
Holy Cow...so beautiful!
May he rest in peace.
No doubt God is part of Arnie’s Army.
so great
I don't see anything in the photo to contradict this. The center of the circle of the rainbow arc s/b opposite the sun, and this accords with the landscape lighting. Beyond that we only require that there be raindrops in the field of view along the lines of sight to the rainbow.
One can investigate all this kind of thing with a garden hose mist spray on a summer afternoon.
May God rest Arnie's soul.
Yes. I loved the commercials with him and Kevin Nealon and a basketball player and a Race Car Driver. I said this before but it seems like he had a good sense of humor. Hope he’s up there having fun. He was a good man.
And if I recall correctly weren’t rainbows God’s gift to man?
That looks like it was taken at the airport. The Fox video shows it from a different angle at the golf course behind what looks like a statue of Palmer’s father.
And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. 14And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. 17And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
... a very remarkable passage, whatever one may make of it.
Big Bump
His ashes scattered on the golf course.
Talk about a sandtrap.....!
“I was trapped in the Arnold Palmer “sand trap”!!!
I watched the Ryder Cup play today and the Golf Channel showed a pic of that rainbow. Really amazing.
