Train struck train station in Hoboken, NJ....mass casualties, reports of fatalities.
Thank you and yes, I did!
Yup. I most often use the Morris-Essex line. I don't have a daily commute through there now, but I used to.
The trains can operate up to 15 mph entering terminal.
Zatso? Fail-safe in normal operation, but I bet someone skilled in the arts could MAKE them fail.
If the valve that vents the high pressure air that keeps the brakes off was boogered so it couldn't dump pressure, would the driver be able to fix that problem in time?
Faux reporting that NBC says this is not terrible related. One sort of reliable source sourcing an unreliable source. Is it text or terror? Family Fed says:
You’re welcome!
I left the area before the Midtown Direct was operational. Had this happened an hour earlier the casualties would have been even higher. I haven’t been in that PATH terminal in 15 years or so. Last time was a week before 9/11.
Gee, I have some guesses but they will say he’s Hispanic.
We do not know anything yet, but we can rule out terrorism. De Blassio said the same thing about the dumpster bombings.
Yes. Quite a few lines. However, Secaucus, the stop just before Hoboken, connects with lines in Penn Station. I think Broad Street in Newark has the other lines covered as well. PATH service to Hoboken will be out for a while I would imagine.
Many of these photos resemble what happened in Die Hard 3.
I came in on track 6 there about 7:45. Glad I went in early. It went through the wall? If that’s true it’s a disaster. The wall is thirty feet from the barriers at the end of the track. There’s hundreds of people in that thirty feet usually, including cops with dogs and a couple little old ladies with bible literature. Hope casualties are minimal. I have on idea how I’m going to get home.
If this is terrorism, I’ll bet you a dollar that he’s a Hilary voter and so’s his dad.
No bet!
