Panic, Anxiety Spark Rush to Build Luxury Bunkers for L.A.'s Superrich [Rev 9]

Oscar winners, sports stars and Bill Gates are building lavish bunkers — with amenities ranging from a swimming pool to a bowling alley — as global anxiety fuels sales and owners "could be the next Adam and Eve."

Given the increased frequency of terrorist bombings and mass shootings and an under-lying sense of havoc fed by divisive election politics, it's no surprise that home security is going over the top and hitting luxurious new heights. Or, rather, new lows, as the average depth of a new breed of safe haven that occupies thousands of square feet is 10 feet under or more.

Those who can afford to pull out all the stops for so-called self-preservation are doing so — in a fashion that goes way beyond the submerged corrugated metal units adopted by reality show "preppers" — to prepare for anything from nuclear bombings to drastic climate-change events. Gary Lynch, GM at Rising S Bunkers, a Texas-based company that specializes in underground bunkers and services scores of Los Angeles residences, says that sales at the most upscale end of the market — mainly to actors, pro athletes and politicians (who require signed NDAs) — have increased 700 percent this year compared with 2015, and overall sales have risen 150 percent.

"Any time there is a turbulent political landscape, we see a spike in our sales. Given this election is as turbulent as it is, we are gearing up for an even bigger spike," says marketing director Brad Roberson of sales of bunkers that start at $39,000 and can run $8.35 million or more (FYI, a 12-stall horse shelter is $98,500).

About two weeks. Qaddhafi, said to be the richest man in the world at that time with $200 billion in wealth, had an army of hired security guards. His Southern Mercenary Army fell fast and hard, with most shot or hanged in the streets and shoveled into mass graves. His hot-shot mercenary palace guard didn’t hang around too long when TSHF and grabbed what loot they could and made a beeline for Tunisia and Niger. Most were caught and executed.

My thought exactly especially those in California. Imagine the Earth soil shifting as the quake hits and makes the bunker as tomb where they will never be able to get out. No thanks, I prefer to be out in the free just prep some food and such and let God take care of the rest.

Listening to this book ( read it once before) about an asteroid strike. It’s a very enjoyable story, written in the 70’s.

I especially enjoyed the description of Los Angeles being destroyed.

I was listening to this audiobook bobbing up and down in the pool overlooking Jacque Cousteau Island and the Sea of Cortez, when the narrated stated that all of the Baja peninsula would be swamped by a tidal wave caused by the asteroid.

What we call the "elite" (or what they call themselves, the illuminati, and other names) are Luciferians.

Do demons give knowledge on future events? Of course. Through mediums, witches, socerery, divination, etc. - demons WILL give you esoteric knowledge. But, it comes at a price. A Satanic bargain.

Yes, I believe they have a great deal of knowledge, perhaps even specific dates. We Christians know that God's wrath will be poured out on the earth. We don't set dates, but we look up, for Christ our Redeemer.

Why would the billionaries build bunkers? I think you nailed it. They know tragedy and horror is coming upon the earth. They are interested in themselves only, and think they can escape the horrors foretold in Revelation. They are sadly mistaken.

In no scenario gamed at the height of the Cold War that I ever heard of does the opposition force nuke “upwind of arable land”. Add to that the fact that bomb fallout isotopes are pretty short lived in the half life department and you have a pretty low risk for dirt being a strategic target or it being impacted to an extent that it is unable to grow foodstuffs.

Now, a case could be made that there is a strategic potential to carpet a decent sized downwind area with radioactive sodium by detonating a large enhanced radiation weapon (”neutron bomb”) offshore in seawater just to kill people but that bomb would have to be unwieldly large and the sodium isotope would decay fairly quickly.
