How about Saudi Arabia and all the ME countries who oppress women, be made to give reparations to the women who are currently enslaved under sharia law?

My ancestors came over between 1845 - 1869. None of them owned slaves and in fact, one of my great-grandfathers and his parents moved north from Missouri in 1860 because they hated slavery and their barns and animals were being attacked. They were German immigrants and none of the Immigrants from Germany supported slavery, regardless of whether they were Lutheran, Methodist or Catholic.

Some of my ancestors most likely owned slaves. So what? I never did, nor did my parents, nor grandparents, nor great-grandparents.
The United Nations has no jurisdiction over this matter. They can flap their gums til the cows come home, especially as long as certain middle eastern countries are selling Yasidi and Christian women as sex slaves.
