One of my best friends had a farm in Eastern Washington. In addition to the veggies, etc., they normally raised about 100 head of cattle and would keep a 1/2 side or so for themselves. She said she would not buy meat anywhere but Costco. I have a friend that works at Costco and they told me that they only buy the best (I forget what it is - Select?). All the meat I have bought from Costco is very good. I always get the spiral cut, honey-baked Kirkland Signature hams for Christmas Eve dinner.
BTW - I love to make things fresh, but I must say that the mashed potatoes (Yukon golds) that they have in their deli (Costco makes them, not pre-packaged) are very good and a huge time saver. I’ve used those some times when I’m doing a big dinner and have little time - everyone loves them. No peeling, boiling, mashing, etc. - just nuke :-)
Rudy is someone I always watch. He's a graduate of the Fiorello La Guardia School of Politics.
Donald should mention that when Rudy took over New York, the city had reached rock bottom, crashed through that bottom, and found a whole new bottom. It would put everything that Rudy did in New York in perspective.
