Thanks for that info. On one of the “Extras” on the film last night they mentioned the writings between he and his mistress which amounted to thousands of letters of professed love over 30 or so years. She was given much credit for her writings as well as Hugo.

Sounds like the kind of mag I’d love!! This winter is my redo the bookcases around the fireplace project. Going shopping for distressed architectural cabinet doors. They will reach height of fireplace mantle. So enclosed shelving on either side.
Above mantle/cabinets and framing both sides of fireplace will be beautiful shiplap in calm and serene off white. Have large oversized architectural iron sconces to flank and add intrest. Found these at an antique store. Really large and pretty. So using unique elements to give interest and appeal.
Once the girls move out, the living room furniture goes to basement and I’m buying new — formal french country.
Trying to talk hubby into wainscoating the upstairs hallway and adding crown molding. It’s one of those projects where it isn’t all that necessary, but sure would be cute.
Sounds like Rudy may be up next lol. You’re just way ahead of yourself RiV!

BTW, I don;t think Rudy's "raise taxes makes your rich" was a mis-speak - it was a tongue in cheek way of saying if Hillary says she is going to raise taxes ONLY on the rich, suddenly EVERYBODY will become rich (and get higher taxes).
Re-read my last post to you. Hope I didn’t come off as Snotty to you. Wasn’t my intention, but sometimes posts don’t come across as you desire them. Really wanted to reassure you about what I’m hearing/ reading. Frankly, I don’t even think the next couple of debates will matter that much. Course I could be wrong. But the way things look right now, it’s his race to lose. And we all know how he feels about winning! :)

I have a passion for reading, and my books were piled everywhere, so hubby made floor to ceiling bookcases in the living room for me.
The wallpaper is like British tweed, so I painted the book cases an off white cream.
The cases have crown moldings, and they are on either side of the door that leads to the sun porch.
There is also a shelf right over the door as well.
Very pretty!
