On Morning Joe, discussing the first presidential debate, a despondent Mika Brzezinski repeatedly praises Hillary Clinton's performance but frets that Donald Trump came away the winner politically.

Mika looks like she is on suicide watch because she realizes Trump is going to win. She spends the whole one minute and 45 seconds saying how Hillary did everything right in the debate. She beat Trump in every respect but (and there is a big but), Trump is going to get more votes and win the presidency.
Does anyone see the absurdity here? How can Hillary have done everything perfectly, but Trump is going to win the presidency. How can that be?
Watching the inner workings of the liberal mind is something that requires a lot of courage and an ability to stop laughing at some point.

BTW, I am seeing liberal commentators now everywhere either admitting Trump is winning, going to win the presidency, or Hillary totally screwing up the campaign.
In just a few short weeks President-elect Trump will be on the lips of many, many people.

Which one of them would the average American rather have in their living room?
I suspect there is a huge gulf in that answer across gender and education lines. Liberal college-educated women would love to have dinner with Hillary based on last night’s performances, but I’m not sure who else would. I think Trump won the “drinking buddy” contest with everyone else.

Undecideds going 3:1 for Trump after the debate
Trump is the only one that understands ALL of these things: How the Political Federal Reserve will crash the stock Market when they raise interest rates they have kept near zero for years to help Obama, China currency devaluation, How NAFTA TPP and gov regulations are sending our companies to other countries as he said last night, and many more things only Trump understands . I dunno, she dances around the polls pretty well!
Plain and simple.
A traditional wonkster debate is old paradigm.
And the voters have rejected that old paradigm.
On the democrat side they gave Sanders far more support than was expected, and Hillary/DNC/DebbieW-S cheated to get Clinton the nomination.
On the Republican side voters rejected entrenched “business as usual” figures, in favor of outsiders.
So by staging an old style debate, and presuming it matters with a new paradigm, is not accurate.
Mika, however, was the only one of her panel who thought Trump would increase his numbers. She took heat for that opinion but she stuck to it for the full 3 hours, however difficult it was for her to come to that conclusion.
She did say she hoped that she was wrong, but that TRUMP said exactly what she has been hearing on the outside (of the bubble) and around tables, and that “whatever *we* think about Trump has been proven wrong”.
Too much estrogen. Her and Joey both.
Still, several times I wanted to slap that smirk off Hillary's face.
