A little girl has made a desperate plea to Charlotte city council in a bid to end the deadly cop shootings of black people.
Nine-year-old Zianna Oliphant broke down in tears as she delivered the powerful message to politicians after nearly a week of protests engulfed the North Carolina city.
Dozens of furious protesters packed City Hall on Monday to call for the mayor and police chief to resign and for his department to be held accountable following the fatal shooting of Keith Lamont Scott.
The father-of-seven's death at the hands of Officer Brently Vinson sparked days of demonstrations that turned violent and caused chaos.
'It's going to be rough in these streets until you give justice to our people,' said the Rev. Milton Williams, the final speaker, according to CNN. 'Our city's in an uproar, and you did not respond.'

How sad it is that this child is indoctrinated at nine years old.
But it starts much earlier than that. It is a common threat by black mothers to their toddlers, “Police going to get you.”
Sorry, happy times are not ahead. The rhetoric will continue until the police are forced out of black neighborhoods and replaced with militants.
That kid’s problem is her Mama. My lily white, as only a natural red-head can be, Mama had me set straight by that age. “Nobody ever said life was fair, get over it.”
Unfortunately, the majority of black kids are being raised to be racist against white people by their parent (s), teachers and the media.
When you are poor, under educated and angry , and all those around you are blaming white people you ARE going to learn to hate them.
Tear gas. Water cannon. Machineguns, if it comes to that. It's seriously looking like the deceased got his justice already.
