ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) Constant interruption. A condescending tone. Eye-rolling.
For many women, the presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was a case study in deja vu. For more than 90 minutes on a national stage, they said Tuesday, Trump subjected the first female presidential candidate from a major party to indignities they experience from men daily, in the workplace and beyond.
Gonna don the flameproof suit for this one, but uh, seems to me that, since women secured the right to vote, it has become less about who is most capable for the job and more about who is the better looking, more charismatic candidate. My wife begrudgingly agrees with me on this, so don’t flame me too much now. I’m not saying women shouldn’t have the right to vote. Merely stating an observation.
Back in the day bill’s campaing when he first ran for office had to take her aside and ask her to shave her arms and legs..........so I am guessing she doesn’t do it now by the look of her hair sometimes.
Yeah sorry for that visual.
Many = all the members of their morning Kaffeeklatsch.
I guess all that testosterone and manliness is too much for them. It brings out that instinctive female desire for protection which decades of feminism still have not succeeded in erasing. It’s hard for people who spend so much time and energy trying to build an alternate reality in which gender is merely a social construct to be reminded so clearly that reality cannot be denied.
It’s about time a real man ran!
Clearly yahoo had already written this article BEFORE the debate, and didn’t want to “waste” it, even though Trump was quite restrained, and mostly reserved his actual debating skills to debate Lester Holt most of the night, and Trump did a FINE job of backing Holt down over and over again with a blizzard of facts putting a lie to the enemedia memes about Trump and birtherism and Trump and Iraq, while Hillary stood back and smirked as if she knew all of that was going to happen all along.
“Oh, no! MANY women?? You mean like 37?
92? 135??”
Exactly. I was going to post a similar statement.
This is why the media has lost all credibility with me.
“Many people are now saying . .. “
Worthless opinionating by the writer, not worth the time it takes to read it.
“Sources say . . .”

“Has led to increased questions about . . . “

“Has renewed debate over . . . “

And so on.
When you get done filtering out such subjective onanism, you really get no useful information from the media.
I know I do! (-:
I was going to post something like.....women have ruined things.....I am female. I will go get my flamesuit out of the closet now.
Who gives a shit if you get yelled at if you’re correct?
Trump has an easy comeback:
Look, you want to be President. Are you going to accuse [insert dictator's name here] of sexism if he challenges you, or are you going to play the victim card like tonight?
Trump would cement the vote of half of the women and most of the men with that one comment.
Good grief, man-up ladies!
Hilary was banned years ago from wearing skirts because the WH staff were sick of seeing her balls.
I think Hillary showed too much IGNORANCE just like the women who approve of her CRIMES.
Females DESTROYED America!
How about a little reality? Women HATE working for a woman boss.
Love to see some guy say that some woman showed too much estrogen ...or maybe just say STFU, hon.
These are the women who go for girly men.
Hillary has estrogen?
Exactly. Truth hurts sometimes.
I was going to post something like.....women have ruined things.....I am female.
Whew! Maybe I won't get in that much trouble here after all. :D
