Tonight, a clear contrast was drawn between the two nominees. Tonight, Hillary Clinton made it clearer than ever that if elected President, our future will continue on the same path that is hurting millions of Americans. If Clinton is elected, we know that the havoc Obamacare is wreaking on American families, on small businesses, and on our healthcare system will continue. We know that President Obamas relentless efforts to crush the oil and gas industry and to wage war on coal will continue. We know that the Obama administrations willful blindness to radical Islamic terrorism and the influx of unvetted refugees from nations infiltrated by terrorists will continue. We know that President Obamas lawless executive amnesty will continue and even expand.
If Clinton is elected, we know that a liberal justice will be named to fill Scalias seat and we will lose the Supreme Court for a generation. With that, we know for a certainty that our right to keep and bear arms, our religious liberty and federalism are in danger. Tonight we received insight into what a Hillary Clinton presidency would look like for Americans. We know that her policies would kill jobs, reduce wages, and continue the downward spiral our country has endured under President Obama.
Tonight, Donald Trump had his strongest debate performance of the election cycle. He drew strong contrasts with Hillary on taxes, regulations, law and order, and the disastrous Iran deal.
Rather than Hillary's America, we need to take a different path. A path that would begin to restore our country from the damage it has suffered the last eight years. We need to unite to defend freedom and restore the Constitution. And Hillary Clinton made absolutely clear tonight she would not do so.
It’s interesting that other than for certain outliers, Drudge and Slate, the online polls broke down 60-40 Trump. Despite the Freeping, I can’t imagine that we on FR have anymore impact than several hundred to a thousand or so votes. So I think we are seeing again the broad level of support for Trump by the American ppl. It certainly speaks to the power of his social media support.
I tend to agree with you- but where?
Why look a gift horse in the mouth? Yes, there are a lot of folks who still care what he thinks and may be swayed by his support for Trump.
No where specifically. I think he will help rally some of his hold outs.
In the graphs of the poll results that you posted, I notice that a small percentage thought “Other” won the debate. Is “Other” the debate moderator? Or is “Other” a mistype of the word “Neither”?
The DNC-MSM can claim “victory” but Lamestream Journolist Cabals have already lost the hearts and minds of the American public. Flat out, they are no longer “Trusted”.
Ratings and circulation are down to pathetic levels.
Their circle jerk echo chamber means nothing.
If MSNBC has a poll in the woods, does it make a sound?
Thank you, Ted Cruz.
Why? because he is an ally - who Reagan would be happy to call a friend:

There really is no point in being snarky about it.
It is time to unite. We should be magnanimous in victory. If Cruz were actively undermining the Trump campaign then I would agree with your statement but now is the time to unite to defeat the rat communist party that is destroying America.
Hillary said that the solution to the racial division in America is political re-education (diversity training) of police.
How would that “fix” the situation in Charlotte where a black police chief defended a black police officer shooting a black man (a felon) unlawfully carrying a gun and advancing on officers?
Sweet!
I just voted on the Denver Post. Trump is kicking her buns there too.
EXACTLY
Pull in your fangs, Freepers. He can flip the 'never Trumps" - That will also generate good press/votes for our side
Put on your big boy pants, /Freepers -
Starting to move Ted back into my like column if he keeps this up.
Does that really matter if it has the effect of convincing NeverTrump holdouts to rethink their opposition and decide to go ahead and vote for Trump?
LOL. I don't think so. I simply stuck "Other" in to cover the case where Third Party votes were allowed and I lumped them together. The averages at the bottom don't add up properly I assume because Excel gave me the average for just those cases where there was Third Party voting.
“Not a Cruz fan... welcome to the Trump Train...”
Exactly!! Any other position is counterproductive.
Let us let bygones be bygones and welcome Cruz onto the train.
Holding a grudge is pointless and we CANNOT have Hellary in the white house.
If Trump really wanted to ace the next two debates he would ask Cruz for some debate advice. Whatever you think of Cruz he knows how to win a debate.
Personally, I'd like to see him on the SCOTUS...I don't think he'd cave, like Roberts did
That aside,if you did due diligence in keeping up, (which Freepers should be doing if they're going to 'opine') you've read that the MAIN reason that flipped Cruz over to Trump is the assurance from Trump that he would NOT stray from the list he has named for the SCOTUS - and Cruz isn't on it.
I think its important, because like Cruz's endorsement, he gives short but well written, rational reason to vote for Trump, that will appeal to many of the #nevertrump crowd.
I'll take ANY help we can get for this election, from anybody. The stakes are just that high.
Exactly - and Cruz is one of a hand-full that fits that bill
