Hillary Clinton is doing more debate prep at a hotel near her Westchester home today, including mock rehearsals featuring an "affable Trump," NBC News reports.
The planning has evolved away from a focus solely on a more caustic rival, according to reporting from NBC's Kelly O'Donnell. Sources say, "We are betting now that most of our preparations are into dealing with the possible curve-ball that Trump comes out being more subdued."

All Trump needed to do was remind himself he's going up a scorpion that is so vile that the rest of the scorpions want nothing to do with her.
That’s very small for a woman. I’m a 5’7” man and I don’t feel small.
If she spent all her time up until now preparing for a caustic Trump who attacks her throughout the debate, she’s even more stupid than we think she is.
Trump won’t have to prepare for an affable Hillary, that’s for sure.
If one is a free thinker with confidence and actual abilities, then too much preparation would act as mental hand-cuffs as one tried to recycle the prep notes vs. actually thinking. Hillary will probably have two ear buds in and still fall into numbing party-line-doublespeak as her mind struggles to keep up.
Maybe she’ll be behind a dark screen with her shadow projected onto it.
Hillary is on edge.
If she feels unprepared, why not skip the debate.
She can always bring up ill health not to show up.
I think Trump is going to save his vitriol for "Lesser Bolt" if he tries to pull a Candy "crow"lie.
Which aide will be feeding Hillary her answers?
Trump didn’t spend of a lot of time sizing up his opponent.
The fact Hillary still doesn’t know Trump is showing a lack of confidence.
And Trump will beat a timid Hillary like a rented mule.
Hillary is from another era. Trump should tell the audience “We can’t move forward by electing someone from the past”.
I doubt she’ll wear flats...so she will be close to 5’7”.

If she skips the debate now, it’s no better than convulsing and collapsing on stage...same effect.
Not going to happen - she will get through it, perhaps with some verbal blunders, perhaps looking tired and worn at the end, but this is her entire life. In her mind, her life is a complete failure if she doesn’t win. If she loses the election, I don’t expect her to live 6 months.

Hopefully, Trump is ready for a completely rigged debate, and has some methods to get the plan off track and talk about what he wants to talk about.
Like cramming for a final exam expending more energy and stress. If it drains and psyches her out then all th the better.
If this is “last minute planning” then she is way off her game - an affable Trump would have been exactly what they should expect from day one.
