Syrian forces pounded rebel-held eastern Aleppo on Sunday, killing at least 85 people and wounding more than 300 others, an activist group reported. The bombardment destroyed residential centers, overwhelmed hospitals and angered diplomats meeting at the United Nations.
"Everyone in Aleppo is depressed," an activist on the ground told CNN.
"They don't know what they have done to become targets for warplanes. Fear is clear in the eyes of anyone you see walking the streets of Aleppo. Yesterday I saw a woman walking on the street and crying , no clear reason, just crying."
Hundreds of airstrikes have pummeled the city, home to more than 250,000 people, since the Syrian government, backed by Russia, announced a renewed, "comprehensive" offensive Thursday following the collapse of a short-lived ceasefire.

The rebels don’t have planes. A no fly zone only hurts the Syrian government and helps the rebels.
Not so much. The difference is in being invited, and in who you target. Try to keep up.
#19. Doesn’t Sunnyvale (or is it Sunnydale) have a serious vampire and demon problem? Just asking.
Oh, I do. So now the Russian POV is that you should be “invited?” The mind reels. Just out of curiosity, when you say “keep up,” you mean for more than the last couple of months, right?
I find it interesting that we accept that Soros and his weaponized NGO's like BLM are sowing chaos in our cities, but all of a sudden that isn't true when it comes to Ukraine, the assistance given to bring hordes of Muslim refugees into Europe, or the Twitter/Facebook revolutions dubbed the Arab Spring.
When you have high level European leaders like the Mayor of London, the Prime Minister of France and the Chancellor of Germany accept, casually, terrorism in their own nations as the 'new normal' the way we would accept low level crime or a traffic accident then what else can it be but the imposition and adherence of the NWO worldview, forsaking the welfare of their own populations.
Is Syria just an anti-terror operation for the Russians? Probably not. I'd even concede that it's probably incidental. They have their own interests. But by the same token neither is it for the United States. So the question becomes are you aligned with Obama's foreign policy goals which I think we can all agree go beyond just the plain vanilla of 'national interests' and include a hyper ideological worldview that may be antithetical to others?
I don't see the Russians trying to impose bad ideas on the rest of the world. I see Obama, traitorous European leaders, and guys like Soros doing that. Attempting to remake society in their own image.
There were hundreds of thousands of protestors on the streets in Kiev, and one would think that George Soros would do better here in the U.S. But he doesn’t for some magical reason. And it’s probably the same magical reason that allows Russian propaganda outlets to make some of us think that he’s living under our beds.
Utter nonsense, sorry.
Russia is there by invitation of a legitimate, UN-recognized government.
US is there illegally, against the international law, and in support of Islamist terrorists.
Nonsense, indeed. Keep it coming.
Many Ukrainians believe you need look no further than the face of Viktor Yushchenko to understand Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
Once smooth and ruggedly handsome, it still bears the scars from an assassination attempt when someone slipped dioxin into Yushchenko's food. ..."

MOSCOW (Reuters) - International monitors say they have spotted a new kind of Russian weapons system in rebel-held Ukraine this week, possible evidence of Moscow's continued interest in Ukraine even as it focuses on Syria.
The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, which is monitoring a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine, reported that its monitors had seen a mobile TOS-1 'Buratino' weapons system for the first time.
The Buratino is equipped with thermobaric warheads which spread a flammable liquid around a target and then ignite it. It can destroy several city blocks in one strike and cause indiscriminate damage.
Only Russia produces the system and it was not exported to Ukraine before the conflict broke out, according to IHS Jane's Group and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, which track arms exports.
The OSCE's findings are embarrassing for the Kremlin, which has turned down its rhetoric on Ukraine and shifted attention to Syria, where it has begun air strikes. The report comes before President Vladimir Putin holds talks in Paris on Friday with the leaders of Germany, France and Ukraine on the peace process.

I guess hussein plans on getting us in a war with Russia before the election.
I get the impression McCain and Graham are driving the war party and Obama is reluctant to commit.
Maybe but I don’t know how they would force him to do anything though.
God bless both of you it’s good to see that there’s still some patriots who fully recognize who are real enemies are
