Sen. Bernie Sanders plans to join Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton this week at an event in New Hampshire where they will pitch a joint plan to make college more affordable -- part of a continuing effort to sell the party’s ticket to wary millennials.
Sanders, the runner-up in the Democratic primaries, consistently outperformed Clinton among young voters. As he prepared to exit the race in July, he worked with Clinton to incorporate parts of his college plan into hers.
The result is a proposal to make public colleges and universities tuition-free for families with income up to $125,000 a year and to make the college years debt-free for everyone.

What Families are they talking about, an 18 Year Old Married Person who makes over $125,000 a Year. Anybody know someone with that problem?

If you have to shore up your base, you are going to lose.
You touch on an important point, namely, why the heck has college gotten so expensive? College costs have risen far more than the rate of inflation in recent decades, which in turn has caused so many students to go deeper and deeper into debt.
Let me guess free for everyone but tax paying parents.
Perhaps Sanders should have waited until after Monday night’s debate before he announced Illary’s plans for the rest of the week.

I had to laugh, some of the news people said Hillary was off the campaign trail the past few days, reviewing the briefing books, etc. getting ready for the debate. Or was she sleeping and recuperating from her last event, to be rested for Monday night????
