What did Syria do to US?

Nothing that I can remember. I seem to remember them killing a lot of Al Queda and ISIS jihadis which used to be our enemies but I'm a bit confused about that - from watching the news I'm getting the impression that ISIS and Al Queda are our friends now and we need to help them in their fight against the elected govt of Syria. But what do I know...

Well, you admit that you’re confused, so you have that going for you. The Assad regime is killing people, ISIS or not. The U.S. favors the rebels (who are killing people), ISIS or not, and the Russians favor Assad, ISIS or not. It’s really not that complicated. Everybody’s killing people, and there are no clean hands in the entire mess
