Hillary Clintons campaign is pressuring Monday nights moderator to take a more active role in the presidential debate, saying its unfair to expect the Democratic presidential nominee to dispute the veracity of Donald Trumps claims.
Its unfair to ask for Hillary both to play traffic cop with Trump, make sure that his lies are corrected, and also to present her vision for what she wants to do for the American people, Robby Mook said on ABCs This Week.
When pressed by host George Stephanopoulos that thats what a debater is supposed to do, Mr. Mook said this case is special.

Told ya FL was safe and that OH was pretty much safe. Cankles is now one bad CO, NM, NH. VA, PA, or MI poll away from complete collapse.
H->! was given Special Treatment during the Friends of Bill and Islam’s Very Special Agents “investigation” of her treason .
She cant handle Donald Trump without bitching to the media, but she expects us to believe she can handle Iran and ISIS, LOL she is already crying to the media to help her what a puss
Trump will have the bigger challenge in that regard.
I get a vicarious thrill thinking about Hitlery p*ssing herself because the media and moderator wil not bow down to her requests for special treatment...My GAWD she is such a loser!!
Some liars lies are more permissive than others it would seem. That knife sure can cut from both sides.
Mrs Bill would like for the debate to be between the “moderator” and Mr. Trump. She wants uncontested time to say her piece at each of her allotted turns. What she doesn’t understand is that if that happens no one will even hear what she has to say. The show will be entirely Mr Trump making the Holt look petty and foolish.
Liberals never hold up well under scrutiny over their statements. This is a very dangerous path for Cankles to take.
As per article she would like a chance to roll out her ideas, well I suggest she have a real live news presser with honest reporters or buy herself some TV time. Debates or just that a Debate.
The Dem narrative is that TRUMP IS THE MOST DISHONEST CANDIDATE EVER. It really does me brain damage to try and understand them.
It is Mook’s job to complain about the debate format???
If Hillary is so clearly a superior candidate, then she should be able to.mop the floor with Trump at this debate.
And it makes me wonder also.....if Hillary can’t handle a debate, how the heck is she capable of handling world crises, of answering the 3 am phone call????
She is a bitch on a stick an that was her best day
This has been the theme on all the news shows this week-end.
By tomorrow morning, Trump will be portrayed as a sexist bastard simply for getting out of bed and brushing his teeth.
Why would it be more “unfair” for Herself to police the assertions of The Donald, than to call upon The Donald to police the assertions of Herself? That is what is meant by “one-on-one” exchanges, and if Herself is not up to the challenge in the relatively peaceful atmosphere of a debate, what would be the chances that Herself could stand up to a REAL international conflict? No moderator or rules there, and the outcome is for keeps.
Talk about a chocolate cake melting in the mouth of a crocodile.
Reading what beardless young master Mook said brought back memories.
It reminded me of what I used to think about opponents the night before a big trial: “S/he must be s***ting her pants tonight.” And then to sleep.
The top headline of the LA Times today was something like Trump’s Lies Unmatched. How he lies more than any other candidate... Insanity.
In another manner of speaking, she wants Candy Crowley - someone who will interject themselves when the Pub CORRECTLY challenges the Dem for being untruthful. I doubt that Lester Holt wants to go down in the record books as the “next Candy Crowley.”
