The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.
I just hope that his performance tonight doesn’t stop his momentum. He should have put her away tonight. Couldn’t get the job done.

Of course they did, that was the plan. Asinine questions about birthers and tax returns.....the war on women.
But, turn it around. Despite this coordinated assault, Trump stood firm, keep his composure, did not change his stated positions.
Plus, Trump showed his heart, his true self; and in doing so he did the impossible: Trump made Hillary even more unlikeable. He also made her look plastic and even more untrustworthy.

You’ll start noticing it in the next ones. I’ve heard it all along because I have a relative who does the same thing when nervous.

Trump wasn’t felled and he didn’t melt down.
He did better than Mitt did with Candy Crowley.
The MSM will declare Hillary the winner - also to be expected.

Calm down. The first 30 minutes Trump was hitting it out of the ballpark, even the MSM is admitting it. Then, yes, he got caught up in his tax release issue and the stupid birther thing. He should have shut those down and talked about Hillary’s crookedness. But he ended strong. Hillary came across as arrogant and half asleep. Thank Goodness for two more debates. Kellyanne needs to work with him on staying on message. He’s actually not being hit by the MSM as I expected.

Trump did fine; that plastered fake smile of hers is worth thousands in free advertising.
What I want to know is what video behind the "blue screen" he was talking about? Anybody got any knowledge about that?
Trump is tied or beating her in many polls from before the debate.
When is the last debate, anyhow?
It’s fine if Trump has the “spirit of the staircase.” Because that’s what will go out in his commercials.
If people want a bullshit-baffle artist, they will pick Hillary. But they would anyhow.
I completely disagree that Trump was ‘bullying’. This debate should have been focused but it seems the moderator was leading this into every Trump conspiracy he could think of in one sitting without bringing up Hillary issues in the same measure - leaving that to Trump. I felt like I was on a merrygoround. Trump was pretty good at commanding time back away from Hillary and Laur in spite of the moderator wanting to rush Trump’s responses. He handled this debate well imo and he will be even better in the second debate. His closing line, “Hillary has experience, but it’s bad experience and this country can’t afford to have that kind of bad experience” is one Hillary can’t defend against and something he should pound and pound and pound.
I don’t know too many here that would have done a better job than Donald in that position.

I sighed, a couple times...and turned the debate off.
When it comes to the dumb and dumber Party..I expect the worse.
Debate was a big bore, nobody won, nobody lost but us....
I thought I wandered into DU at times here tonight.
The PIAPS made an insinuation that Trump gave very little charity.. and Trump wasn’t bright enough or prepared enough to mention the Clinton Foundation - they give less than 9 % of the money to charity and all the pay-for play examples.
What a disaster.
