The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

She did her homework with memorized responses, and yes, it looked not so much like she had the questions in advance as like her strategy team devised and gave the questions to Lester.
All Trump had to do tonight was show that he cares about THE PEOPLE, tell us all what he will do to make America BETTER and that is all he had to do
I recorded the debate but read this forum first, now i’ve decided to NOT watch the debate, and will CONTINUE to support Trump, just like THAT.
A debate won’t save the country, a debate is nothing but a biased propaganda stunt, a debate was good maybe 30 years ago, not now, its irrevalent to whats really at stake. Its sole purpose is nothing but a carnival game to lure you in and spend money.
Going to bed soon, Trump will win in ratings nationally, Hillary will be even more hated nationally and even more worn down like a stubborn boulder in a river. In time Hillary will be history, a shrill nobody that nobody will listen to anymore.

You’re being too pessimistic. Trump held his own. At best Hillary did no better than a draw.
Trump was in TROUBLE most of the night; sadly. Hopefully he can pull a REAGAN at the next one.

I really think he is keeping some “dry powder” for the future debates. Whereas Hillary seemed like she unloaded everything on him. Could be a brilliant strategy.

There was no upside to Trump debating her with the media we have today. I hope he des not do another one. He was winning before this. This was a rerun of the Biden/Ryan debacle.

Trump should only agree to no moderators and Lincoln-Douglas style debate.
Trump has certainly showed that he has more lives than the Energizer Bunny in terms of being able to come back ... he will need a more disciplined approach for Round 2 ...
