ON THE OCCASION OF THE FIRST DEBATE BETWEEN
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
Donald John Trump
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY, HEMPSTEAD, NY
9 PM MONDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2016
The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.
“My conclusion: Hillary is not sick, she was never sick. It was all a ruse”
Then I guess you think her near face plant on 9/11 was just dehydration? It may have cost her the election.
Interesting, and not exactly a conservative site either!!!!!
Trump won because he never had a deer-in-the-headlight moment, was never stumped for an answer, looked at ease and didn’t bully the bitch by screaming “CROOKED HILLARY!” into the mike.
So all you hand-wringing Cruzers and DU trolls can pound sand.
Holt’s bias became far more obvious in the last 20 minutes.
He wasn’t too bad earlier.
I am also a Trump supporter, and I agree with you. The guy simply can’t make a point coherently without babbling all over the place with any thought that comes into his head. The guy is simply not articulate.
She survived! No collapse, no major gaffes.
Won’t say she “won” as the talking heads immediately are, but she showed up and stayed competent despite my predictions.
The last question was tailor-made for Hillary.
“Have to ask does your MIL ever say she regrets that vote?”
Well, she passed on almost a year ago at age 96. Before that, I never did ask. But she sure did bitch a lot about her healthcare for a few years.
It's called "confidence."
When Trump shows it we usually express appreciation for it.
Great observation, KC.

Sure. And she could have done worse. But I don't think anything huge changes from this debate. I hear lots of indies broke for Trump in Luntz's group.
I do wish Trump would stop repeating his points. 4 or 5 times on Trade Deals. He should be saying it once then moving on. He also needs to hit common-man problems more.
That's right, you should.
From your analysis, you are only following the cadence of the speech and the inflection; when you listen to the text, the content, Hillary is getting slaughtered.
Trump knows what he's doing: he's aiming at going after the LIVs, who only know what Hillary's ads told them (racist, rich, etc.)
Trump appealed to America's wounded pride (decaying infrastructure, debt, ISIS, cyber vulnerabilities, Iran, nuclear proliferation)...and managed to do it with both a biased moderator (Hillary all but called on Holt for help after he savaged her on one question, and WTF is the birth certificate doing when Obama is LEAVING office, and WTF is a 1992 remark on the Iraq war when Trump was a mere private citizen, doing as lead questions, given Hillary's email servers?)...and questions which were openly, verbatim, modeled on the DNC talking points.
Drudge poll is biased.
You just got here....and you are building your jackass house already....
Excellent............
My wife and I are strong trump supporters and we wanted to slap him silly for getting stuck in the weeds and not covering big issues. It was as if he didn’t prepare and thought he’d just “be donald” and play it loose.
He could have done much worse though.
The good news is that he may be playing the long game and waiting for the next debate to get the big jabs in.
I dunno. I learned, FINALLY, in 2008 to be very careful about predicting elections.
I knew going in that our best chance was a hillary meltdown, physically. That didn’t happen. I sincerely thought it almost certainly would. Apparently drugs are stronger today than I realized.
Well, I’ve been around here far longer than you. I don’t recall meeting you at the Freeper’s Ball in 2005. After Obama was elected, I dialed back on contributing to threads, and concentrated on prayer for those who requested it as one of the original members of the prayer team. There are different avenues for participation on Free Republic.
Depends on what your definition of winning is ... I was only able to listen
Keep voting on Drudge I still can’t get in!!
