CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD has released the body and dash cam footage in the Keith Lamont Scott shooting investigation. The video was released days after protesters demanded that the footage be made public.

I opined a few days ago that perhaps this guy wanted to become a martyr for the BLM cause and give some street ‘cred to his family.

His left hand, kept hidden from the officers to his right as he backed from his vehicle, sure appears to have something in it.
I don’t think so because if it were suicide by cop, he would have simply exited the vehicle and flat out pointed his gun right at officers. Some incidents like this they’ve used toy guns or unloaded stuff. In this video the suspect appeared as though he were attempting to *conceal* something.
Either that, or he thought he was going to shoot and run - maybe thought someone else would jump in?
Oh, and guys making $35,000 /year a supposed to figure it out instantly.

A friend who is a professional historian and genealogist posted this on social media:
That fine, upstanding family man, Keith Lamont Scott, whose death is responsible for the rioting and looing in Charlotte, lived in San Antonio, Texas . I check the databases I have access to and looked at his arrest record just in Texas. He was arrested at least 5 times from 2002-2005 and convicted every time. Among the charges were “ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON;” “UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM,; “ASSAULT WITH BODILY INJURY,” and “EVADING ARREST.” Again, that’s at least 5 arrests in 3 years with convictions on all. There is of course the question about why he wasn’t STILL in prison for all those crimes—but it does prove that this man was a dangerous criminal, known to carry—and use—firearms in the commission of crimes. I attempted to copy just one of the records and will try to post it here.

I can imagine the good folks of NC are not too thrilled by this local Obama fueled and supported violence and chaos. That SOB is a professional instigator.
There’s no sense talking to the left because they’re nuts. The rioters never cared about the truth - they’re driven by hate and money - lots of out of towners according to id’s. So, are we a lawless country that’s going to let a bunch of punks kill, hurt innocent people, destroy property and create chaos? This has to be gotten control of - doubt if the Dem mayor will do so.

We are pissed. But at least Hillary didn’t come here this weekend.

So true. The Guy’s rap sheet is one aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge after another. He was buzzed up and just didn’t want to go to the slam. Now he’s dead.
I think I can make it out now too. The gun being a 380 is small, and would naturally be difficult to make out in what we have to work with.
On the other hand, my 41 would be plainly visible.
