The Washington Examiner reports:
Clinton and surrogates growing frustrated with tightening race
Clintons campaign has outspent GOP nominee Donald Trump on nearly every front, including placing more than $20 million on ads in Pennsylvania. The Republican candidate has spent only a fraction of that amount on advertising in the Keystone State.
Though the Democratic nominee is ahead of Trump by a wide margin in Pennsylvania, she leads nationally by only two points, according to a RealClearPolitics polling average.
Clintons supporters have blamed her poor showing in the polls on everything from third-party candidates to the supposed ignorance of the American voters. And her supporters appear to be growing increasingly frustrated with Trumps ability to stay competitive in the race for the White House.
Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md., for example, said Clinton has a poor approval rating because voters arent paying attention to all of her strengths as a candidate.

Here's a Hillary tweet that helps answer that question:
As @FLOTUS said, the choice in this election is about who will have the power to shape our children for the next four years of their lives.
Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) September 15, 2016
Long time ago folks realized they just didn’t like her but pretended to as best they could (for the “cause”). Guess you can only keep that up for so long.
On the Democrat side that would include Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama. She has something against "new, bright and shiny objects"?
Not enough beer goggles in the world.
Scary thought. The liberals have been brainwashing our children in public schools for decades. Apparently that’s not enough for her.
Once we get on the right side of history, there are no limits. Today's technology is already making energy cheap and labor (in the old sense) unnecessary. We are entering a world of abundance -- if only government and other institutions who benefit from the status quo will get out of the way.
Let the producers produce, let the grifters (including the "climate change" promoters) wilt on the vine, and we'll see a future like you wouldn't believe.
Trump should be saying...
She has spent 96 million dollars on her campaign, has 10 times as many people working for her and has taken off at least twice as much.
TYPICAL GOVERNMENT PARASITE!
You should go buy a nice suit.
If you're going to be impotent, you should look impotent... :)
Hillary is a horrible candidate. Lacks charisma, body language feigns annoyance and superiority, looks old, and she has a horrible tendency when she is not near a teleprompter or notes to lecture us. She also has a ton of baggage, has a very suspect record, and she is scandal-ridden. There is also real animosity for her political machine crushing her primary opponent.
Trump has run an unconventional campaign where everything including the kitchen sink has been thrown at him with little impact. He has a non-traditional message and is not a politician in a race where people largely believe politicians are pond scum. On top of that, he has truly hit his stride and has been outstanding in the past month on the campaign trail.
The trend is clearly favoring Trump and I don’t think the left knows what to do because all their usual crap has not worked. Praying he stays disciplined (I think he will) the rest of the way and I think we will be pretty happy in November!
The left is going to be very angry if they lose this and the Clinton brand will be permanently damaged - hubris.
I'm calling it "The Comey Gambit".
They're just going to do it - then look us in the eye, and say like a schoolyard bully: "Whaddaya gonna do about it? Wanna make something of it? Hunh? Hunh?"
That what Jimmy Comey did with the email thing.
I hope you’re right; I’m not so optimistic.
The problem isn’t just technology - cheap energy and labor - it’s so many, many millions of corrupted, hate-filled leftists deeply infiltrating every facet of America, and spreading the rot, from within and without, like a deadly virus.
Democrats = 4,062,187
Republicans = 3,126,166
Only outnumbered by 900,000? Heck, we’ve got them surrounded!
“Can’t wait for it!”
Can’t wait, either. I’d like to see Trump hold up The Big Zero’s pen and phone and toss them into a shredder - symbolic of what he’ll do with Zero’s unconstitutional power grabs.
Clinton is one of the worst Dem. nominees in contemporary history. Worse than Dukakis, I think she's comparable in many ways to Mondale.
If this country had the same demographics as it did in 1984, or even '92, she would be absolutely crushed.
You are correct, of course.
America's last legitimate election was in 2008.
“voters arent paying attention to all of her strengths as a candidate”
Calling all voters. Quick! Pay attention to Hillary’s strengths as a candidate! Here’s my list:
1. Hasn’t killed anyone lately.
2. Gets e-mails from the Preident
3. Hasn’t fallen down lately.
4. Wants more refugees to be admitted (oh, come on. Is that really a strength?)
5. Keeps wearing retro pants suits.
6. Recovers from pneumonia quickly.
7. Excellent performance in every debate so far.
8. Great husband and wife team.
9. Hasn’t thrown a fit in public yet.
10. Knows how to trade cattle futures.
