President Barack Obama scolded Donald Trump for his bleak description of the African-American community as recent police shootings of black men — and the violent protests that followed them — inject sensitive questions about race into the presidential contest.
America’s first black president took issue with the Republican nominee’s suggestion this week that “African-American communities are absolutely in the worst shape than they’ve ever been in before, ever, ever, ever.”
“I think even most 8-year-olds would tell you that whole slavery thing wasn’t very good for black people. Jim Crow wasn’t very good for black people,” Obama said in an interview that aired Friday on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

The descendants of slaves in the USA are the most well off black people on earth. But it's not at all PC to say that.
That’s pretty ugly, but I think the Hoover Building and a lot of others built in DC about the same time (the Brutalist style, I think it’s called) are worse - they’re truly depressing!
Does the museum tell the story of black slave owners? There were as many blacks enslaved by blacks as there were white slave owners.
Does the museum tell the story of tens of thousands of white slaves?
Does the museum explain that half of the blacks in the US at the time of the Am Rev. were freemen?
Does the museum explain that less tan 10% of black slaves were ever in the US? Most were in Caribbean and South American nations.
Does the museum explain the slavery that persists today at the hands of Muslim slavers?
I doubt the museum was built to tell the truth about blacks in the US.

Most Black conservatives that have seen their communities pulled apart, will tell you the great society wasn’t much better for it either.
