He wants a seat at the table after the inauguration. Had he followed his current course, he would have been cast into the outer darkness where there would be nothing but weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth.
I tend to think that Trump wants Ted at the table despite their past differences in the election.....he’s got a lot of “the goods” Trump can use now as he heads toward the finish line.
That weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth would be because the entities there would have discovered they had been consigned to associating with Ted Cruz. :P
