I really haven’t missed visiting Charlotte in many years.
Now even more so.
A lot of my Southerner coworkers & friends say that, too! We’re transplants, so we actually go now and then to the malls and the restaurants (though we’d rather go to Greenville, SC).

Charlotte has become just another Leftist-run shithole in the last 20 years.
We moved from there a little over a year ago and are back in Florida. It’s a beautiful city and we found most of the Black people we met and interacted with well educated, well spoken, nice and proud of their communities. Of course, there were parts of town that people stayed away from who didn’t live there. Charlotte has its share of poverty, lawlessness and crime, but for the most part, we all got along fine. I can’t help but think it’s the BLM rabble rousers travelling to towns whenever there is a police shooting in order to generate publicity and foment anger. They don’t even wait to hear the facts before they do.
What’s sad is they don’t seem to care when it’s black on black shootings - unless it’s their own loved ones - just the law enforcement ones. It gives the truly bad ones any excuse to riot and loot and not face the consequences for it.
