A lot of my Southerner coworkers & friends say that, too! We’re transplants, so we actually go now and then to the malls and the restaurants (though we’d rather go to Greenville, SC).

In the 70s and early 80s from what little I remember, the GSP area was a somewhat dreary and dull area.
