Looks like media SOP tonight is that “peaceful” MUST be said and “riot” is NOT to be said. These are all things I’ve heard on WSOC in the last 20 minutes or so: “other protests earlier, that were peaceful...”, or how “this protest began peacefully...”, “we hope this protest returns to being peaceful again...”. Absolutely no description of what is currently happening actually is.
