The NFL sees its ratings going down faster than Colin Kaepernick after hearing O say can you see.
The Eagles-Bears ratings declined by double digits from last years Week Two Monday Night Football contest and represents the lowest number since the franchise moved from ABC to ESPN. The NFL experienced drops, albeit smaller ones, for the Sunday slate, too.
But the elephant in the roomactually three Dolphins, a Bronco, and two 49erscontinue to be the competitors in Americas Game insulting Americas song. Fans do not watch because of a quarterback who does not play. No one likes uninvited guests coming into their living room to insult them.
Talking heads and NFL spin doctors do not care to own up to this. But Colin Kaepernick becoming the face of the NFL actually does more to harm the leagues bottom line than Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, or Aaron Hernandez did by dominating news cycles. The criminal behavior of a small percentage of football players occurs away from the stadium. Colin Kaepernicks perfectly legal protest happens on an NFL field in an NFL uniform on NFL broadcasts.
America is a free country. A multimillionaire remains free to kneel during the national anthem. Joe Six Pack remains free to turn off the television.

The left destroys everything.
(former fan who hasn't seen a game in at least 15 years and can't name more than three active players)
You would think that the NFL would be smart enough to get ahead of this issue. They never show the National Anthem being played at regular season games. So a sit down JUST HAS to be shown. Ratings I guess. Go to a commercial. Payback’s a bitch.
Finally....some really good news from California....thank you to CK and his 49er buddies.
The NFL & ESPN think they own the fans and can shove whatever they want down the fans throats. Hopefully the fan is finally being heard.
The silent majority is really sick of being called racist.
Now if he could only do the samething for Facebook...Twitter...Salon...Huffington Post etc...would be a lovely world with so much mean-spiritedness taken out of it.
There’s more. Too much military and patriotism at the games. Now they ‘show both sides’ to show how open minded and even handed they are. Then there’s ESPN.
TMZ did an online poll about this issue last week. 52% of respondents said they are STILL not over this issue and it bothers them.
The other 48% are over it and moved on.
The NFL is going to have problems with this.
Let them get real jobs.
I am not going to oppress them by watching games.
The women in the household are watching Dancing with the Stars.
But the league quickly cracked down on the Cowboys when they tried to honor 5 murdered policemen. So it’s really wrong to blame a few players - the problems are institutional.
Professional sports has been the “Circuses” of our Rome.
If sports fans put one tenth the time and energy into care of the Republic, we would be in great shape.
With Trump, it may be happening before our eyes!
Still I don’t get the 48% that have “moved on” how do you move on from this BS. I do hope the NFL get hit hard in their pocket books.
Goodell’s such a frickin’ genius.
So what will they destroy next? Free elections are going fast. After Obama does in the internet this month will we have anything left?

A decal on the helmet to honor slain police officers in Dallas? The NFL says NO!
But Kaeper-dink and Company protesting the anthem and insulting Americans across the country? Why that's free speech! Well, it is but... these players are simply employees and there is nothing keeping their employers from firing them or taking other action. Then let's see a fight between the commissioner's office and an owner for taking action against one of these phony SJWs. But Goodell sure taught Tom Brady a lesson didn't he?! I have been a die-hard NFL fan basically my entire life. I've been doing fantasy football for almost thirty years. I met Johnny Unitas and Art Donovan and many old Colts on many occasion back in the day in Baltimore. And I'm sure they are spinning in their graves over this BS. BUT... I... HAVE... HAD... IT!!!!1
Allow me to paraphrase Tsun Tzu. We know who we are. We know who our enemy is.
