I’m still frustrated at how the liberals and Hillary henchmen went after Matt Lauer.

Instead of discussing Hillary’s shortcomings, and Trump’s good performance at the commander in chief forum, the liberals instead attacked Matt Lauer for not bringing down Trump.

Is the job of a media moderator at a news event to “bring down” a certain candidate running in an election????

Rather than dealing with Hillary’s poor performance, they lashed out at the moderator.

I agree with you. I put CNN on after the forum just to see what they were saying, and they devoted their entire show after to Trump. They picked out various things Trump said like about Iraq (which the media went after Lauer for), Putin, the generals turned to “rubble” under Obama, etc. and ignored the fact that Hillary did not do well. She struggled to defend herself over the email scandal. At one point, she snapped on Lauer, realized what she was doing, and hurried and regained her composure. I thought that would be discussed. It wasn’t. They just put focus on Trump.

Then I looked on Twitter and saw the media members were not pleased with Lauer. They wanted Lauer to go after Trump, especially on Iraq. Their hope was that Lauer destroy Trump that night and make Hillary look good.

We have to realize that these journalists believe it is their duty to use their position to change the world for the better and make a difference. That’s not a bad thing in some situations, but in politics, that is obviously subjective. What one person considers for the better is not what another considers. The problem is that the vast majority of journalists are leftists, and what they consider for the better is taking our country further down the path of leftism. Therefore, they have become unofficial surrogates for the Clinton campaign - which isn’t doing so hot right now. The media knows this and is trying to carry their water.

My understanding of it is that after the forum, Hillary went on one of her famously hushed rampages behind the scenes, yelling and screaming and throwing a fit. She wanted Lauer’s head on a platter by the morning.

Of course, this is just unsubstantiated rumor, just like the many other rumors of her doing this to Bill while he was in the White House. I think it’s true.
