In addition, corporations, governments, individuals create domain names by the dozens than file a copyright claim to it. If Freerepublic decided to use .republic it might already be copyrighted by another entity and therefore would be rejected. Freerepublic would have to use the .com.

Copyright claims by website owners mean nothing if a globalist community declares it ‘hate speech’ and via their contract with ICANN they can force the ICANN branch in their country to knock down a website.
