22-year-old Dahir Adan, stabbed multiple people before he was shot and killed by part-time, off-duty Avon Police Officer Jason Falconer. St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis said he was able to view surveillance video of the chaos inside the mall and Adan's final encounter with Falconer.
“You see him immediately lunge forward with the knife, lunge forward at approximately 20 feet or more, in a very rapid period of time -- less than two seconds,” Kleis said. “And you see the officer fire. You see the suspect went down, he got back up. The officer fired again, he got back up. This was three times.”
