Last week NFL players were sitting during the National Anthem.
Now they’re raising the Black Power fist.

On Monday four Eagles players raised the black power fist during the National Anthem.

Frankly this whole “protest” thing started by Kaepernick is very rapidly losing steam. If you will look you will see that of the NFL players that remained seated or took a knee in week 1,there was not ONE addition in week two and I am certain that except for Kaepernick none of the ones who took a knee or sat out the Anthem did so in week 2.

I think they took so much heat in the social media that they decided the most they would do was to raise a fist which to me is more a statement of solidarity with other blacks than it is an act of disrespect towards the flag.

Any reduction in overall revenue will be felt immediately at draft time. The team owners won't be able to reduce the contracted pay of current players, but they will have much less money to offer new players.
