Frankly this whole “protest” thing started by Kaepernick is very rapidly losing steam. If you will look you will see that of the NFL players that remained seated or took a knee in week 1,there was not ONE addition in week two and I am certain that except for Kaepernick none of the ones who took a knee or sat out the Anthem did so in week 2.
I think they took so much heat in the social media that they decided the most they would do was to raise a fist which to me is more a statement of solidarity with other blacks than it is an act of disrespect towards the flag.

Not to mention the loss of existing endorsement contracts and the slowly dawning realization of some of these rocket-scientists that protesting during the national anthem makes them poison for any future endorsement contracts.
