For months journalists complained they couldn’t get Hillary Clinton to answer questions from her traveling press entourage, while Donald Trump cavorted with reporters and appeared on television ad nauseam.
Now the tables have turned.
In the last two weeks, Clinton has taken informal and formal questions from traveling reporters on at least eight occasions, while Trump has not taken questions at formal press conference for more than 50 days.
Clinton welcomed reporters onto her plane on Labor Day, got chummy with the press photographers, spoke with reporters after recovering from pneumonia and most recently took questions twice in the two days after the bombing in New York that injured 29 people.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton spoke to reporters about the NY/NJ bombings that took place over the weekend and she blames Donald Trump for the attacks.

She slammed Trump for his immediate reaction to such incidents by speaking before he has the facts and spreading anti-Muslim propaganda.
She said that “gives ISIS exactly what it’s wanting” by making the enemy into the entire religion of Islam, as opposed to a small number of actual violent Islamists.
“We know Donald Trump’s comments have been used online for recruitment of terrorists,” Clinton said. “The kinds of rhetoric and language that Mr. Trump has used is giving aid and comfort to our enemy.”
