As an IT architect, I’ll be the first to admit that I spend a lot of time searching for solutions to complex problems. I’ve been known to lurk on Reddit tech forums as well. However, there are very few, if any, entities who can afford a legitimate Exchange license or EA who aren’t governed by email retention laws. The fact this guy was asking is very telling, but don’t think that even the brightest of IT wizards know everything.

How does a tech guy not know about scrubbing data? There have been free utilities to do 7X rewrites for decades. Do that twice and be done. Replace the drives and you don’t have to scrub.
