There’s 8 million people in NYC and the odds of one of our loved ones getting hurt is probably statistically close to zero.
But it doesn’t feel that way when it’s your kin.
When I worked in Manhattan I felt I could get to her or any other family member if something went down. Now I’d be stuck on Staten Island.
