Only in the big urban areas. The rest of MN is pretty normal.
I moved to MN without knowing anything about the state. Took a job and lived there for too long.
Normal would not be my first choice of adjective for Minnesotans, unless you are comparing them to Californians. Words take on a whole new meaning in Minnesota: “Minnesota Nice” ain’t nice, conservative means Norm Coleman, and fun means ice fishing.
Normal people only associate fun with ice when it’s in their drinks!

Minnesota is statistically the major state in the union operating as a recruitment center for new Islamic extremists. One large area in Minneapolis is called "Little Mogadishu"....it's the center of the nation's LARGEST concentration of Somali Islamists.
As the Allah cult continues to breed like flies it will continue to spread out through hundreds of neighborhoods in Minnesota's major cities and suburbs.
The present non Islamic creme de la creme of the state's urban areas will pull up stakes and move to safer, calmer cities and suburbs in other states....they sure as heck won't move out to the sticks and rural areas of Minnesota just to escape all the violence and bombings in their once-safe cities and suburbs that is certain to come in the future.
The game has already started in Minnesota. Over a period of time it will become a basket case...and the game ball has only one way to roll...downhill.
To think otherwise is foolish to the extreme. It's the kind of thinking that is ignoring reality, facts, statistics and history.
And, you add, "the rest of the state is normal". No, it's not. The descendents and current members of the pioneering old Norse/German-based "Farmers Socialist Labor Party" still vote straight Democrat (and for consumate weirdos and fools like Franken, Wellstone and Ventura)...and will continue to do so.....
